Hi, I'm an American. I would really like to visit Japan. It's one of the top 5 places I want to visit.

I would start my journey in Tokyo because that seems to be the "core" of Japan AND that is where my plane would land! In researching Japan, though, I have not found any "must do" sites. Your paper could cover what should not be missed in Tokyo.

I do want to go to Tokyo Disney. This might seem strange from someone who lives 100 miles from Disneyland, but I think Americans like to see Disney in all of its incarnations.

I want to see Kyoto and I am especially interested in Geisha culture. (Memoirs of a Geisha just came out on DVD a couple of months ago, but I've been fascinated for a long time).

The other place I want to see is Hiroshima. This is not on the standard tours packaged for Americans, so it would be useful to have detailed information on that city.

Good luck on your project! I would love to read it if you post it to the web.
