It had a male singer and he was singing about a pirate who hooked up with two sisters and one "when she does it for me, she does it for free." It was on 120 Minutes on MTV and this part has stuck with me for years. My brain will be more at ease if someone remembers this!

Sadly, it isn't Dolby;I like him. I bought a compilation with Europa and the Pirate Twins on it , hoping I had found my long lost song, but no such luck! I am turning in desperation to the Yahoo! answering community :) !

Not exactly an answer, but a suggestion. THe link below goes to song lists for all the MTV 120 Minutes episodes. Even if you don't find it right away, there's a lot of good music you'll start to remember (vaguely, if you're like me).

Thomas Dolby had a song called "Europa and the Pirate Twins." I don't remember that particular lyric from the song, but the part about "a pirate who hooked up with two sisters..." jumped that title into my mind.
