I had no idea i was even pregnant and I was so pushy towards my husband. I made him go to town and buy 100 watt light bulbs to go in every light in the house, because I swore that I was depressed because the house was too dark. I craved burnt dairy queen hamburgers and he wouldn't get them for me when I asked. I also couldn't sleep so I watched some retarded zen house cleaning show and re decorated my entire room. I remember cleaning out from under my bed because the thing about zen is you need a clear space under you while you sleep in order to get restful sleep. I tried all kinds of things.

I finally took a preg test on thanksgiving and it came back positive. I was shocked! My husband I think was happy, i can't really recall if he was happy or not. i was oblivious to everything but the test for some time.

I didn't finish cooking or even eat the holiday dinner and I must have sat at the end of the couch and stared into space for hours. I had different times when I was happy and then I would cry. I was messed up.

I was super depressed after I had our daughter. She was perfect in every way but I didn't feel any attachment to her for almost a year after her birth. I nursed her for a year and took care of her and did everything I was supposed to but I just didn't think she loved me. It was just a bad time entirely for me.

OMG. The first pregnancy was hell. To let you know I'm not a mean natured person at all. You know the show Friends? Ok they decided to rerun the episodes of Rachele's labor and at that time i didn't want to hear, know, see, or do anything that involved birthing. I was scared to death about it. It just so happened that we only had three channels at the time and it was always on. Well i pushed the TV off the stand and broke the dam thing. Some relief. But then my husband decided to buy a new one and on top of that get cable. It made things easier when trying to avoid shows that had things to do with child birthing but then the commercials started. Everything was making me cry. A happy one, a sad one, even ones that were joking around because then i had empathy for what ever reason. About 2 weeks into having cable i threw the new remote into a wall and needless from then till i gave birth to my son i read about 30 books.

One night my family didn't like the dinner I had prepared. They complained and whined, and I had experienced a tiring hormonal day. I was about 7 months pregnant. Frustrated, I gathered up the whole table with the tablecloth, dishes, food and all and threw the whole lot of it in our front yard. I am not the kind of person to ever do this, and have never done it again, but suffice it to say my kids and family have never complained about my cooking again.

when i was pregnant, I used to call my fiance screaming and upset about nothing....he would try his hardest to calm me down and I would just hang up and then call him back like 10 minutes later and be crying and apologizing..........you just have to have loving, caring, and UNDERSTANDING people around you......
keep stress off and relax....
this is your time so just enjoy the new sensations that happen with pregnancy and try to be reasonable........
