Gratuitous torture of a character who was begging for it. "No, no painkillers, please!". However, the only really impressive makeover Apocalypse ever executed was giving Angel the Metallic Wings Of Death, since molted. And whatever he did for Sinister's immortality. Thereafter all his makeovers were pretty poorly defined. His brainwashing technique is PATHETIC! everybody rebels. Or dies. It resulted in removing Gambit from the team, but even his absence may not improve the storyline.
In short, Gambit got what he deserved.

Cool! I think it's better then his old look. May be he get new power now too? Or at least start using some thing other then cards. May be flaming skulls or cu pie dolls?

Black leather suits are so passe. at least it's better prancing around in pretty colourful spandex.

it could be worse...i think the characters look ok..but i really liked the old ones too...they were getting hard to get though...
