By the way your very handsome but I like to help people but sometimes it is so funny the questions they ask...but yours is ok you just want to know why...but it is fun...too...just got a new computer and yes just want to pass time too...take care......

I joined to get help about a serious problem with my cat. I just wanted some advice. I started reading questions and answers and got hooked.
I come to Yahoo daily because it is something interesting to do. There are so many different catorgories. Sometimes I just like reading questions and answers. Sometimes when I feel I can be of help I do answer. I have learned a lot of things on here and have helped a few people.

I had nothing better to do in my down time during my internship. Started looking around on the internet, and found the yahoo answers. It is actually fun to just spit out my opinions on things while also answering legite problems/questions that people have.

A little bit of everything. I did it mainly to share my knowledge and to find out if I really did know as much as I say I do. So far I have found that my knowledge is not limitless and there are some topics that I can't easily answer. Also, I have found that, although I might know the answer to a question, sometimes I can't find a way to properly exress it.

I think that everybody likes to share what they've learned in life with other people who might not have learned these things yet. All of our paths are different, and we learn things at varied points in our lives, so sharing insights is good for all of us.
If you notice my questions, they're fairly simple and almost trivial, but folks answer them. I actually enjoy answering questions, and I enjoy most of the answers that I get for mine. Maybe it just helps me know people better.
I am a writer, so learning about people will probably always be something that interests me.

I have a hard time sleeping so I jump on here. Also some times I have a question and hope that others have the answer.

I like earning points...even if the points mean absolutely NOTHING, like they do in Yahoo Answers. But, it's fun and something to do while I'm on the computer!!

Mainly I am bored and looking for a cheap way to pass thetime.. I also feel I have good knowledge to pass on to others in certain areas

At first I did it to kill time. Then I found myself giving advice that I wish someone gave me. Sometimes I am informatve, sometimes helpful, once in a while admonishing, a few times rude and\or silly.
It is a great place to be yourself!

I enjoy helping other people with questions when I have the ability to. I think it's interesting to see the topics, questions and discussions that go on in here.
It's like having a livejournal style format, with people you don't know. :)
