Im 14. And I know alot of kids at school who like to barg about having sex or w/e (im not even in highschool yet, and i think its sad that its the only thing some ppl care about) but I really want to wait until my wedding night. It be with the man i love and id know hed love me back. Some kids think its cool to not be a virgin but im very proud of the fact that i am and that i want to wait til im married. Its awful to know that when i tell ppl that they look at me like im crazy or ask if im really serious. There are too many risks with sex to be doing it as an every day thing (not literally). But even at a certain age, you should be prepared for the risks of having sex. Dieases that cant be cured, getting pregnant, just hurting your body in some way.
I think people should wait until they are married, emotionaly ready, sure of themselves and ready for the risks.

i imagine it became likely a detrimental determination, yet i am going to't quite understand considering i have not even met the guy before. He may be apologetic about it later on in existence, he received't. It relies upon on what he finally ends up valuing. in my view, i do not imagine there's a 'top age' to lose your virginity. quite, if none individuals were meant to be having sex till we were in our 1920s, why may we be bodily waiting to at 12-14? That being stated, the large majority of 12 365 days olds are not waiting for sex in any respect. I purely imagine you need to be in love and be prepared (worst case challenge) to have a baby with whoever. i'm no longer putting forward wait till you're married or ought to help a toddler, yet be mature adequate to make the right judgements and under no circumstances purely run away. Oh, and also you should likely be previous adequate to attraction to close all about secure sex practices, and so on.

"Right"? Hmmm - An interesting phrase to use. I think what you really mean to ask is when is it NOT right for a person to lose their virginity. Circumstances dictate all and age is actually pretty irrelevant - I've known 14 year olds who had their heads on straighter than 25 year olds. So a person of adequate maturity who is doing it for the right reasons (ie their own) rather than because the situation dictates. I've known a lot of young women who had sex in order to keep their boyfriends or who did it because their parents said not to etc etc etc. There are lots of wrong reasons and I imagine you know what they are. Artificial dictates like those of churches and institutions should rightly be spurned. Keep your expectations low and don't put too much emphasis on it because regardless of the chronological age you are at the time, it won't be good until you've been doing it for a while.

I am 32.

really you'll know when it's the right time for you-whether you're married or not. i was 17 on my first time-but i've never done oral-up til recently i thought it was a little disgusting.i think a decent age would be 15 or 16-at least it ain't too young. it's upsetting to hear that more teens younger and younger are doing it.like there are 12 and 13 year olds that are doing it- that's a little too young. and it is so true-some teens view sex as no big deal at all-but it is.well if you're still not sure when the right time for you or someone else you know, then just follow what your instincts are telling you. By the way, i just turned 19.

Well I'm 20

I say your best to wait for the right person and it is just a say so. Cause if something was to happen like baby's and it was not the one you war to be with forever then what. Sometimes it can work but not always. Plus its all ways better if your with someone you love. You should look up LOVE. Its a lot bigger then just a world.
But you will known if you do or not. So don't get an a rush. There are a lot of fish an the sea to look at be for you know.....

I found one. I know you can, it just takes time.I just got luck with with my he still here. He not love of my life but we love each other.

First of all, I'll do what you asked...I am 29 years old. Of course, most people will say wait until it's the right time. I started too young. I know most people will not wait until their married. I think a decent age would be "protected" sex at 16. That's more logical than what everyone wishes it were like. It's better than 12 year olds having sex & that's what's sadly happening these days.

Well now a days people think sex is no big deal but it is and you should share with some one you care about and love. You should Wait till you are married, but in this day and age that's probably not going to happen so wait at least till you are in college. You should be a responsible adult knowing all the positive and negative consequences.

im 20...i actually lost my virginity when i was 19. i was going to wait till i was married, but ended up realising i ws in love...left him for a weeks vacation, came home and well...he got lucky. i guess just when one loves the person and knows that their right. also, my husband lost his virginity when he was 14 years old...maybe 15. all he cared about in high school was drugs and getting some from girls. im number 9- he had had sex with 8 different girls before me. i didnt mind much-hes clean-no std's, and experienced, but he regrets it so much! after he realised he loved me and that i had saved myself for him he realised what an important gift that was. and he wishes that he had waited for me. he realised that the drugs and girls wernt making him happy-they were just filing him temporarily-like salad-one can eat a huge salad and be stuffed, but an hour later feel like you havent had ANYTHING! so anyway, i think that its just important to wait for the right person. not to rush just so one can tell the guys in the locker room that theyve banged the girl from english class.

i am 48. i lost mine to the man i married three months before the wedding. i wish i had waited.
my 24 year old daughter was married last oct. and my 20 year old son was married in may. they both were virgins when they married and were very proud of it. they are both glad they waited.. I hope my 14 and 12 year old children will do the same.
My children know they can talk to me about anything! it's very important for parents to listen to their children.
