Have you ever seen salt on a slug. I can't imagine a bacterium surviving that can you?

Where there is salt bacteria cannot exist. I use it every time I have a scratch, cut, bite, poison ivy, rash, sunburn, burn etc...it is a true fact...you don't need to use anything besides salt ever again ...it will pull infection out....prevent infection, stop the pain...(after it stops burning) and heal any wound quickly without irritation or soreness. It does't have to be alot of salt even a small amount in water works...Like for babies with diaper rash etc. I do use it straight on my wounds and scrub it in ...leave it .and flake off the salt...you can soak burns cuts etc..in salt water when it stops burning you're done.and good to go. A salt water towel or soak will pull the burn out of sunburn...just keep rewetting the towel when it becomes hot...can take several hours...but you'll be able to sleep comfortably and you won't blister. It will also dry up poison ivy with no itching...Just had a bout with that ...Hot rinse on the area to make it itch...Scrubbed salt in...let it burn...rinsed it off...then applied olive oil to the area and scrubbed salt in left it on ...flaked off the residue of salt crystals when it dried...No itching again and it dried almost instantly. It is truly a miracle...Remember...Where there is salt...Bacteria cannot exist

No, pure salt would draw the fluid out. Diluted with water, it becomes saline solution which is similar to your tears and can be used to rinse out a wound.

I'm not sure. But I do know then when I was teenager and we would get cuts away from home like at a bar or a restaurant we would always do that because it had iodine in it, and it worked, and yes, it stung like hell.
