if the plugs have aged new ones could improve economy

If your asking if some gimmick plug like those splitfires or the bosch +4 plugs will... then no they will not.

If you have worn plugs and want to replace them with new ones... then yes they will slightly.

it does if the old plugs were worn, cracked or incorrectly set, the new plugs with correct gap settings will give a better ignition source, but only if the ignition timing is correct too. ;) H

it has very much to do with the preforms of your engine and if u lose power u lose mpg
