I find stereotypical minorities hilarious and to be a joke. They hate to be stereotyped, but yet they promote some many. In regards to the African Americans in the back of the bus, 40 years ago they protested that and now that's their favorite spot. Then of course they're loud and obnoxious when back there. The oversized clothes, tacky fronts, unemployed-while-welfare-pays-for-everything-fancy-I've-got mentalities, and other behaviors that contribute to blacks being considered less than forever surprises me that it continues when they constantly complain about being held down by society.

All young African Americans do not insist on sitting in the back of the bus......but the one's who so think that if they sit in the front they are lame and they try 2 get away with cursing and being innapropriate on the back of the bus. This goes for any kid of any race who is trying to look cool in front of their peers. I'm 15 and African American and I'd rather sit nearer to the front to avoid being in bad situations and listening to loudness, and plus for me it's easier to get off in the front especially when it's crowded. Yes our ancestors did fight hard, and some people do take the freedom of sitting in the front, but the mentality of the past still has a seed inside the hearts of many black people, so many things have not completely changed.

No, our ancestors fought for the same rights as whites. Not to sit in front of the bus, but for the freedom to choose where they want to sit. What an ignorant question.

yes, everybody knows Rosa Parks.....we fought to set in the front because we couldn't.

Now we ride in the back so we can chill with our peeps, no bus driver telling you to "hold it down" it's just in the back there are more seats open and together. When someone gets on the bus...you notice the front seats are scattered with people.
we meet in the back to have closed conversation. It would be rude to talkover people when you have the choice to set in the back. Most people would just rather set next to the door or right in front....waiting for their stop....

i guess the reason being because now it truly is a decision, no longer a call for. We did not wrestle to sit down down interior the front of the bus. We fought for the right to sit down down whereever we would have loved, the front or the decrease back.

Cause the back of the bus is the cool ****, ask anyone. I love sitting in the back truthfully, ever since grade school. You can yell at the bus driver and he doesn't know whose doing it(yes immature, but its the truth)

i dont know personally i sit slightly near the back cause once i sat at the back and the bus driver braked sooo hard that i almost got thrown off the seat and so u know i was sitting in the middle one so if i had fallen i would hav probably knocked all my teeth out......... i think its wrong for them to sit in the back because before they got their rights they used to be forced to sit there so actually they should be sitting in the front.........

that's very easy so we can be the first off the bus the windows in front don't work its stuck or 12 people have to push very hard to get open HELL y'all be dead if an accident was to happen... but the windows in the back are very loose or broken or just one good push it will open why cause we be practicing...LOL... why do we sit in the back oh you silly child!!!...... its safer and we will be the first one OFF!! cause y'all in the front will be DEAD!! or hurt badly and beside its a party in the back its no party in front that's why y'all go to sleep up in front... what you should be doing is check that WINDOWS!! before you go to sleep ....and be NICE to the us who sit in the back cause we might be the one who will save your ***!! one day there's no seat belt on the public transportion so be NICE to US!!!....

In all fairness it isn't just blacks every kid tries to sit in the back. The further away from a grown up the more kids can get away with.

Not sure about your school district, but in the school district that I work in, the students have assigned seats on the bus
