africa has been squeezed by centuries of plunder and is still being plundered economically - as Kofi annan said, the first world is still squeezing $200 billion net a year out of africa - which after being plundered for centuries of labour and riches is still under the thunb of the first world

the third world is supporting the first world - giving $200 billion a year in aid to the first world - this is what does not get through people's heads - countries are forced to stick to cash crops, which gives cheap food to the first world, because of the high supply relative to demand, whereas they could diversify if they were free, to high profit high demand products like unusual tropical fruits etc - foreign aid is in the form of loans - is the bank giving you aid or are you giving the bank aid when it lends you 30,000 and you pay back 90,000 in interest and principal over time? - eg britian is giving brazilians 12p per capita in aid, and brazil is givng britain $12 per capita in interest - plus 80% of aid is spent in the first world - plus what the third world is sold is often poorest quality, for which they pay top dollar because the first world bribes leaders to sign deals that cost the nation big - bribes up to $5 billion, so guess what the profits are

it is like you close off a suburb in your city, steal everything out of it, and then have contempt for the backward state of the people caught in that suburb - that is africa

africa is bleeding from an artery, yes, and yes we are applying a band aid - but it isnt the africans fault - europe and america, the first world, was built on the labour of slaves and the plunder of the third world - you can refuse to face facts of history, but it wont make you right or real or happy

we have pay from $1 to $1 billion a fortnight - from a million times to 1000th of the average - the most extreme plunder, theft, extortion, greed, evil, hatred, injury, injustice, wickedness - and selfdestructiveness - because people are not doormats and they do fight back against theft - 90% of people on less than a 10th of average pay - while some are on a million times pay

we cannot afford such high levels of injustice any more - we have the bobms to destroy the planet 60 times over - we have to stop being thieves - or go on sliding via increasing violence to nuclear oblivion - the newspapers and tv and books dont tell you the truth, that the richest and most powerful have plundered africa mercilessly, because it knows you dont want to face facts - they dont want to become unpopular telling people unflattering realities, so you remain ignorant of the facts - and so you cant vote right to straighten things out and save yourselves -

if you dont force yourself to face unpleasant realities, dont expect to be able to be happy - happiness depends on knowing the truth - the reality principle is the maturity principle and few are in it - most people are still in the 'pleasure; principle - ie, i only want to know if it is pleasant - so the pleasure principle is a pain and unhappiness principle - because happiness needs realism
