Entire foot isn't swollen just the spot where I hurt it; the area is raised and hard and it has not gone down.

yes i would say that there is something wrong. usually swelling goes down within a few days of an injury unless there is something wrong.
u should probably see a doctor and get an x-ray taken.
in the mean time elevate it and ice it for 10 mins on and 10 mins off.
pinapple juice helps with any bruising also. this is just one of the home remedies my gran use to use when any one got hurt or a bruise. it helps the blood thin out to move away from the hurt area.
good luck and i hope u get better

I had preeclampsia (toximia) when I was pregnant-high blood pressure, protein in urine, swelling. The only thing I could do about the swelling was to keep my feet up as much as possible. I took an extra pillow and put it under them at night. When I got home f/work my feet went up until I had to get ready to go to work again. The soreness is probably from all the swelling. It hurt when I knelt in the middle of the bed and the dr. said it was from the swelling. Hang in there-you're almost done! If it keeps up they might try inducing labor just so you can deliver and get better. I delivered a 4 pd. baby at 36 weeks.

Did you ice it like you were supposed to?
Have you been elevating it?
Did you have x-rays taken?

Make an appointment with your doctor to see how well it is progressing in it's healing!

Better to be safe than sorry!

If it has been two weeks then you'll probably be fine. However, it could still be fractured so you should see a doctor if you see fit.

you need to rest it. there may be a torn tendon that will not heal without time off your feet. Also you should see a DR
