I'm new to yahoo answer, but how in the word did you get so many points? How much are you on?

I answer questions and ask some as well. I also rate the resolved questions and vote for undecided questions. I am probably on here way too much. By the way how is this my question?LOL

One must go on often and find questions you know about and want to answer. The faster you type the faster you answer more questions. Also read all the rules and how you can earn extra points. If you have the best answer to a question you get 10 points. I've gotten a lot of points in one week, but one must frequent the site! I think some people just like answering questions. Have fun with it and your points will come.

Im almost to 900. After a while it's possible to lose interest. The fastest way to get points would just be to answer 20 questions with thanx for the points, but after a while yahoo would catch on. My advice is to just answer questions if you really have something to contribute - that way, you are having fun while proving that you actually do know something.
First couple of levels you should answer to your maximum, then you should vote to your maximum, and then thumbs-up people (which gives them a point too.)

I'm relatively new, only have 550 pts. You get the most by being voted "best answer" at 10 points, so if you give good answers, you'll rack up the points quickly. Also, answer your maximum # questions each day, which is 20 for a newbie. Oh, and don't forget to vote for 20 "best answers" each day, too.

By having no life and thinking that your own thoughts are interesting enough for others to actually want to read them.
In a given day, I probably spend more line online than anybody on this list...(I average 20 plus hours on the weekends and 15+ hours the rest of the week...And with my new BlackBerry, I'm connected all the time)
But I do things with my online time...instead of answering every inane question that is asked...

you get points by answering other peoples questions...and you use them to ask questions...I think I have like 330 or so.
