My back aches right above my butt. I will be fine most of the day then later at night it just aches! I am a newer mother my daughter is 14 months old sooo it's been awhile. Also I have been VERY stressed out. I was laid off for a few weeks and my lease is over at the end of the month. I still can't find the right place.

Stress, picking up your daughter, tight hamstrings & quadriceps.
(basically your front and back thigh muscles) If they're tight, you will end up with a sore back. You might have residual tightness from your pregnancy. Just to name a few things that might be going one with you. Not taking care of yourself, which happends a lot with being a new mom.

sometimes that happens after childbirth especially if you have had a c-section or epidural. also the way you carry the child and reach to pick up the child can cause back pain. you also seem to have a lot of stressful issues all at once.
