I've had them before, and in some cases they worked out really well but in others it just wasn't working. It depends on the people I suppose. You definitely have to have trust and be confident in yourself to know that regardless of how long in between visits, you'll both still stay faithful and never loose interest.
Best of luck to you, I'm sure if you have a long distance relationship you will learn something from it. Whether its more about yourself, your partner, or patience in general, it'll be a learning experience.
Enjoy

Never works out in the long run. How can you build a relationship with someone when you can't spend long periods of time with them? That is what builds and maintains a relationship.

Yes, I do. But the question is for how long. I husband used to live in one state, I lived in another when we first met. Three months later we were engaged, three months after that we were married and he moved to my state. We've been married for 9 years. Had 3 beautiful kids.

I love a wonderful man that is so far from me I can't imagine not believing in "long distance relationships". If I didn't I wouldn't have his love. Best wishes

They are very hard, but if it weren't for them, I would not be happily married! You need to be strong and also creative so the relationship does not die.

I don't recommend them, unless you think that the person is worth the pain.
