It will land sooner or later. When they first get in your house they zoom around like crazy.

Put out a cup with a little juice in it. Or anything sweet and sticky (a teeny bit of ice cream works well too). It will land in there eventually to drink, so then you can slam something over top of it and toss it outside. You can also chase it with a dustbuster or other small hand vaccuum and suck it up, then empty it outside. Don't try to spray it while it's flying, you'll just get bug killer all over everything (been there, done that, still can't get the smell out of the rug).

I have seen these electrified, swatters maybe you could swing it through the air and get it. I prefer the hair spray method like the other person above. That swat er does look cool

Turn all the lights off in the room you want to stay in.
Turn on one light in a room that the fly will follow, shut the door.
Flies like light.

Buy a frog.
..the second option is to get a small towel and whack it out of the air using the towel, then step on it. I've done that many times.

Get a bug spray for flying insects or just get anything to spray on the bug so it can be weighed down and then you squash it.

ooh i know....some guy taught me how to do this when we were having subway sandwiches outside. I hope you don't mind getting your hands a little bit...well.... insecty. First get your bait. second wait for him to come to you. thirdly when he is buzzing real slow over your trap squash him between your hands. Good luck to you.

Squirt it with some hair spray. That will bring it down then you can kill it.

spray it in flight with hair spray..it will "glue" it's wings....or windex with ammonia is also good....the ammonia suffocates it
