Open the photo in your program, then click File, Save As, and in the drop-down menu select .jpeg or .jpg for type of file and click Save.

Open it with your Windows Picture and Fax viewer, click Save To, then select the file type you want it saved as.

open the picture in paint and do a save as and choose the format you need

Go to paint, Save as, and then instead of JPEG use whatever format you need and then Save

you have to open the image in a program like photoshop or paintshop then save as and select .jpg. Remember where you saved it.
