Definitely! 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 says: But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

Don't you see these things now days?
That's proof that we are living in the last days of this system of things.

I think in the last days that things will be bad all over the world... right now, North America, Europe, parts of China and South America are at better than ever levels...

I mean really... when you look outside do you see your nice car or a dead body? If it's a dead body, I'll agree that we're near the end...

There have always been horrible things... but I don't see today's horrible things even coming close to the holocaust, inquisition, black plague or many wars that have been fought...

I think that if people from the past come to the present and heard you complaining... first they would slap you for being a whiner when you have it so good... then they would laugh at you for being a fool...

No - because those stories are morality tales more than anything else designed to make people of their time live a good life. In addition, a study of the book of Revelation by experts shows that all the critters and monsters alluded to refer more to the ancient Romans who had conquered and ruled that part of the world. It has absolutely no bearing on life today. The world will "end" when the sun goes nova millions of years from now or if we're the victim of an asteroid striking the earth wiping out civilization.

People have imagined they were living in the most advanced times, and the most wicked times, and the times closest to the "end times" for as long as there have been humans measuring time! In any case, I find no reason to believe the Bible simply because the people around me said, "This is for real, check it out." Sure, there's plenty of violence in the world, plenty of war, plenty of disease. That's the way it seems to work. With our current technology we could certainly wipe ourselves off the planet easier than ever before... but that doesn't have much to do with prophecy.

Yes, I do. All the signs are pointing toward Jesus's return. I believe He is still waiting, maybe to give His children another chance to repent and turn to Him. But He's getting ready to come back, even if He is only waiting for a second longer. Just remember a second is different to Him then it is for us, but even Jesus doesn't know when He's coming back until His Father tells Him and sends Him.

God tells me through his words in the Bible that none will know when the last days are here or where they will arrive. He will come and they will rejoice in him.

He tells me to be wary of false people who preach in his name and yet do not know him in their souls and that they will and can lead us down the wrong path.

He says I am to live each day with love in my heart and the belief that he will come.

For this can be the last hour, or the last minute or the last second. For us to ask why or how or when there can be no answer but to believe that we will know when the Lord our God says it is time.

To thine God be true.

Yes, Jesus (Yahshua) was here 2,000 yrs. ago (1,000 years are to God as 1 day), so he was here 2 days ago by God's reckoning. The Bible prophecies refer to the formation of the state of Israel (1942?), wars, earthquakes, automobiles, etc. Native Americans say the big ending will begin 2011. Sir Isaac Newton predicted 2060.....Other scientists predict we are reaching out limits of population overload on the planet.
Go see Al Gore's "Inconvenient Truth"....
The end is Near.......Repent ! (you know what I mean).
