Johan Cruyff because he was the fulcrum (hey, how often do I get to use that word?) of Total Football as personified by Ajax and Holland in the '70s. I also saw him score the greatest volley I have ever seen live in an LA Aztecs@ Vancouver Whitecaps game so I'd like him to show me how he did that.

I love your question! Lol. I'd have to say either Ballack or Lahm from Germany. They're both so cute and skilled...and I could learn a lot from them seeing as I never play football. I have always played tennis(I'm a girl btw) and never had any interest in soccer till recently. I saw Lahm and Ballack play and I was hooked. They captured me and since that day...I have wanted to learn football.

i dont know much players from the past. but itd be great to play with maradona or pele. two soccer legends.
and for the present, id LOVE to play with CRISTIANO RONALDO. id probably be standing there the whole time just looking at him and waiting for him to score. *sigh* id love that!!! oh and zinedine zidane and lukas podolski.

I would love to play with edwin Van De Sar, or ronaldinh or even Robben. THey all are so talented and have great attitides towards the game. They play hard, and are verry sportsmanlike.
