Go swimming

Use lots of pillows when you are TRYING to sleep. Tuck them all around you. Especially in between your legs!
Lay on your Left side FIRST then switch to the RIGHT.

Ask your doctor or the nurses what else you can do about the pain. They might have other suggestions.

Do some stretching. DEEP KNEE BENDS. Hold onto the windowsill and squat down as far as you can. Then back up.

Go for a walk. Keep active as you can! Drink LOTS OF WATER!!! Stay WELL hydrated!

Take a soak in a tub full of warm water for a bit or go to a heated swimming pool with hubby or a friend and hang in the shallow end. The water should lend you some buoyancy, should take the pressure off your back, legs, and anywhere else, at least for a little while.
Good luck....

Try laying on your left side, knees up a little with a pillow between your knees and one against your middle back, if that doesn't ease your pain, try resting flat on your back with one or two pillows under your knees high enough to let your feet dangle! Remember summer heat makes you swell everywhere so try to stay under air-conditioning, off your feet and if your lucky to have a sweet husband, back rubs are heavenly also foot massages and sip on ice tea, it's always soothing in the hot summer! Try to watch funny movies or romantic ones, they help taking your mind off your pain! Congratulations on your bundle from Heaven!

Welcome to pregnancy, sweetie. My last month i was HUGE. My friend described me as a beachball. It hurt to drive. It felt like a knife up my back. Vary your standing, sitting and laying. Sleeping in a recliner may help. Take walks, it helps with strengthing your muscles. Try icepacks, heating pads and have daddy massage your back. Think about the sweet baby you're going to be holding soon. I know it's the pits right now, but nothing, nothing, nothing is SO worth it. Persevere. And congratulations!

Try telling your doctor about it and also if you can, watch the discovery health channel. They have good episodes on giving birth and what the doctor has done for their pain! You can also just go to a local hospital and ask one of the doctors or nurses there!

I was pregnant last summer and nothing made me feel better than swimming or at least being in water. If there is a pool you can get in, that's great, it takes the weight off.

I found that staying cool and hydrated helped. Also I lived for the last month in my husbands boxers and t shirts (as long as I wasnt going anywhere). Warm showers helped me as far as sleeping at night.

I laid on my side and place pillows under my stomach which made me more comfortable. Also, I was more comfortable in a reclining chair than a straight chair. The warm showers were a good idea too. Many blessings to you and your baby.
