The subject field of an email is totally optional so that's of no supprise that it's "Unknown". The Mail From field however needs to be a valid @ string...so it's funny that it shows up as "Unknown" in your gmail. This field is not authenicated...merely validated that it's a of the right form...so should never be trusted for sensitive data. Instead use some form of Public/Private key signing mechinism.

As soon as you get spam, you will keep getting it. I have to Gmail accounts. I created my secont because of a name change, but i really like it and take care of it by not giving it out to sites i dont trust and offer sites. For those sites i use my ole account. Its not a virus, but i will tell you this. Their are ways to enter an email adress you would like to show and then type in a message. So they dont have an account like that, but it appears as they do.
