She cried for a few minutes then she was fine. She has not been acting funny or anything, but should I take her anyways, or will she be fine.

she will be fine. No need to take her to the doctor. Babies get bumps and bruises all the time. The first time my son fell off the bed he had a huge lump on the side and I cried and cried. He was ok after a few minutes also, and he still is.

Getting a lump is just fine. If she begins to throw up take her in to the ER it could be a small concusion. She'll probably be fine though since you stated she was acting fine.
If she ever bumps her head and doesn't get a lump then be worried.

She should be fine...my daughter always gets big 'eggs' on her head when she bumps it, but they go down fairly quickly. Just keep an eye on her and if you are really concerned, take her, just for peace of mind. At 7 months, this is just the start...wait till she is starting to walk...my daughter seems to have a constant bruise on her head!!

You need to check her pupils make sure they are okay. (You are looking to see if they are both dilated when they absorb light). If her eyes are okay she should be fine. Give her some Tylenol and keep her up for like an hour and observe her behavior. If you feel like something is wrong take her in. If is only a minimal bump and all signs are normal. Still wait the hour, give her Tylenol and let her sleep.

relax its okay as long as she is not acting different. her eyes arent weird or pupils dialated and she is not vomiting. how big is the lump where is it and how the heck didsh ebump it ...couldnt have been too aweful hard if she is not crying or walking yet. unless it was accidental on your behalf. Hun I have kids they fall they get bumps ..A LOT.... its ok as long as the simptoms are none of the above..make her stay awake for at least 1 hour after the accident to make sure she hasnt a concusion

A baby's head is normally pretty tough when it comes to bumps...the skull is still flexible, because it hasn't closed up, yet. I think she will be fine...but always follow your own gut feeling. Apply ice (a bag of peas= towel around it) on the lump.

You dont need to take her to the doctor for a bump on the head. Reserve the ER for bleeding, swelling, any type of EXTREME injry. Otherwide you will wait for hours. I say if she is acting, eating and sleeping regularly, you dont need to take her in. If she isnt acting like herself.. then go.

You didn't tell the time - that is crucial. If you are submitting the question, then I'm gonna say all is well. You actually are asking: is there a bleed?

Dilated pupils, fixed pupils, lethargic, sleepy (beyond normal), etc.

But really, why ask? If you have any concerns in any way, is it worth asking a question here? GO TO THE ER.

No. She'll be fine as long as she's acting fine. Kids gets bumps all the time. If she feels nauseous or her pupils are dilated, then bring her in.
