you may lean more on it for support, try an ace bandage to offer it some support. alot of times if your right handed your left leg is just as dominant as it is counterbalancing your movements. you can put old fashioned uncooked rice in a clean old sock, tie the end, put it in the micro for a few minute and apply to your ankle, moist heat, it should help, it can be reused, too, try ibuprofen for pain and inflammation. if this doesn't help i would see your doctor.

try putting on ice after u work out.. .also try using Epsom Salt and soaking ur foot in that.. and might help.. it might be ur the type of ur shoes... also try wearing a brace on it..

but if u sprained it u should: Rest -your ankle by not walking on it.

ice should be immediately applied- It keeps the swelling down. It can be used for 20 minutes to 30 minutes, three or four times daily. Combine ice with wrapping to decrease swelling, pain and dysfunction.

Elevate your ankle above your heart level for 48 hours.

Compression dressings, bandages or ace-wraps immobilize and support the injured ankle.

if u hve bruising, swelling, or pain is getting worse.
Your toes below the injury are cold when you touch them, feel numb, or turn blue or grey. Call a doctor so they can look at it..

good luck

your ankle just hasnt healed completely. you should consider seeing a doctor only as a precaution. yeah taping it keep syour ankle in place so it doesnt hurt. but little movements can cause pain. if it really relaly bothers you just see a doctor about it.

Don't stand for this kind of misbehavior. A good talking to should do it followed by a time-out. If all else fails, break out the wooden spoon!

Maybe your foot turns in or out when you walk and you can't tell. You need to go to an orthopedic specialist and get it check out.
