As far as I can see - Red. But visible spectrum of light to who or what? There may be some creatures out there that can see even the long waves we use for AM radio. I think the would call it "raddynach".

Red is the correct answer. Wavelengths that are just longer are in the infrared range, which isn't detectable with a plain eye. Red has the characteristic of being the lowest energy light, and in terms of temperature, the coldest. A well-known example would be red stars, which are cooler than the much hotter blue stars.

Just thought that I add that bit of information.

Violet.

Edit: sorry, I misread. Red has the LONGest and violet has the shortest. Infrared (which is supposedly outside visible spectrum) has even longer wavelength...but, w/ infrared, you can see the heat, so I think it's debatable as to whether it is truly outside visible spectrum.

Red from wavelength 780-622 nm (in vaccum)
violet from frequency 659-759 THz

Which Color Has Longest Wavelength

Red.

E = hv where v = frequency. v = c/lambda where c = speed of light and lambda = wavelength.

so E = hc/lambda.

longer wavelength = less energy = red side of spectrum

shorter wavelenght = more energy = blue side of spectrum

Infrared (Heat)
Red, ~800nm
Violet ~400nm
Then Ultraviolet, X rays.
