The singer is Israel Kamakawiwo'ole also known as Iz or Bruddah Iz. a Hawaiian singer who, though weighing over 300kg, sings with a beautiful tenor voice. He died of weight-related respiratory illness on June 26, 1997.

i know this one, i had the song downloaded but i can't think of his name. i think the best version was on ER when mark died. a hawaiin man sing it, his name start with an A...i'll get back to youi was wrong, by the time i found it, so had others, my bad

Me first and the Gimme Gimmes and its really cool... they do punk/ ska remixes of tons of other songs.. they are just a cover band but they are awsome and well known.
