1. Sex is a cheap form of extremely enjoyable entertainment that even the most impoverished people can afford.
2. Lack of birth control.
3. In many cases, they're so poor BECAUSE they have too many people in the first place.
4. In some countries, having a lot of kids is seen as a sign of prosperity and wealth (and the fact that the whole family of 9 is living in a dirt hut is ignored).

lack of birth control, as well as catholic missionaries in many 3rd world countries who do not condone the use of birthcontrol are a couple reasons. another reason is that in 3rd world countries the infant and child mortality rate is so high that families literally have extra children to make up for ones they know will die. a 4th reason is that extra kids means extra hands in farming, house owrk, or earning money for the family by working. the list goes on but these were a few.

Many reasons: Can't afford b irth control
Birth control is against their religion
The more children you have, the more labor force you will have
As a "hedge" against losing some of them to disease or starvation.

No money for birth control. Lack of education about birth control plus many are Catholic and against birth control.

i heard mexicans r trying to out populate the amaricans so they can be all over the place but then again it could be that they r just trying to find a reson to come over to america to get jobs and not having to pay taxes like say they could say i dont have money over at mexico so suport my kids so i thought i mite come over here to find a better job and dont have to pay taxes

They can have sex even if they r poor, but maybe they can't afford birth control or condoms.

well, i heard that in the mexican religion they dont beleive in birth control or aborsion. they see pregnancy as a miracle or a blessing so they dont try to prevent it.
