Calling All Geeks and Nerds...can you help an ignorant artist open a 360 acct.?

Question

I do so want to open a 360 account, but I have failed in every effort.

I get as far as "create a nickname" (which I fill in) and "select email account" (which I do), and then, when I tell it to go to the next step, it simply wipes out my information, but with no indication of whatever it was that I have done wrong.

Thinking it might be the nickname, I've tried various others (with the same results), and I *would* try the same thing with the email acct., except that it is the actual email acct. I use every single day with NO PROBLEMS....*pant, pant*...sorry, I'm quite worked up over this, and earnestly hope that some kind soul out there can tell me what on earth I need to do to open a 360 acct.

By the way, my computer is an iMac G4, in case that makes any difference.

So there's no red words, no *'s next to anything? Have you tried using both Firefox and Safari? (I would suggest Firefox as I opened my 360 with it just fine.)

May be it is not rejected because of your OS, but your domain. I try surf to find answer how to do it, but cannot find answer. Wish you luck...
