Whenever I turn my computer off for the night. and the next morning when I turn it back on, I go on the internet by clicking internet explorer but it always says in the status bar "finding site" and the page can not be displayed. I only know that if I restarted it the computer, I can go on the internet and there won't be an error display message. my question is why does the website display whenever I restart the computer. Does anyone know what the problem is? This only happens if I turn off my computer everynight.

Its probably a static IP address, ( A generic IP that the internet service provider gives you to access the internet). With a static IP your address will change every so often like when you stop useing it for a while the ISP will give it to someone else who uses the same ISP so they can access the internet. Your pc stores the IP addtress that you last used, so when you reboot, you just use the same IP address, and when you shut down, the ISP (internet servive provider) gives that IP address to someone else, so when you try to log back on, since the IP address has been given away, your PC has to get a new one from the ISP.
