Armageddon and Independence Day come to mind.
And then, controversially, a lot of critics condemn the Passion of the Christ to have been rather inaccurate. Generally, in terms of Jesus speaking Latin, the crucifixion, etc.

My guess would be forrest gump. They used real events and real people but forrest was ficticious. The movie had elvis, JFK, the start of the apple pc company and the ficticious characters fit in well but it was totally incredulous.

Come on people, Jurassic Park. DNA doesn't even exist...duh!
Altered States, Terminator, and of course Mars Attacks. Also, why the hell were the things in 'war of the worlds' eating our junk food? They preplanned this attack by thousands of years and they're going to be taken out by a handful of snickerdoodles and a clark bar? Please!
