Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel were unbelievable actors and Matthew Broderick while being good is no Gene Wilder and Nathan Lane while funny, is not as funny as Zero Mostel.

I like the recent one with Broderick and Lane because I haven't seen the original version.

Gene Wilder/1st version. I know I'm probably gonna get some flack for this, but I prefer the Hitler talkin like Black people to the gay Hitler. And I'm Black. I think anybody that's straight gets somewhat of a bile flavor in their mouths when they see gay stuff. The Broderick film was funny but in a gross way.

The musical version. It has Matthew Broderick, and good songs I love to sing along with. Great movie.

I like the original version because Gene Wilder's character is just BRILLIANT! However, Ferrell did well as the German lead. haha
