If you have been taking the Depo Provera shot for more than one month, the chance of getting pregnant is .01%. Since you have had a period since then, chances are you are not pregnant. If it makes you feel better, get a home pregnancy test.

Little sister, if your boyfriend put his erect penis in your vigina ( sorry to be so graphic but I did'nt want to down play anything either ) there is a chance of getting pregnant.
It does'nt matter if you're on the shot, the pill, the patch and he's using a condom. Pre-ejaculate comes out of a guys penis the moment he becomes aroused. PRE-EJACULATE CONTAINS SPERM. So if you're having sex, there is a chance of you getting pregnant. The only sure fire way you're not going to get pregnant is if you don't have sex.
I'm glad you're on some type of birth control. But please remember there is no 100% contraception.
Serious advise, do not ever have sex without a condom. Make your boyfriend wear a condom every single time. Also, if you two are mature enough to have sex together then you're mature enough to go down to the clinique and get tested for std's. Little sister he could have HPV and pass it on to you and you would'nt even know it. HPV rarely has symtoms and is proven to cause cervical cancer ( preventing planned preganancies down the road ).
I commend you again on being smart enough to be on birth control. But you can take it all the way girl if you and your boyfriend get tested and have him wear a condom every time you two fool around.
Best of luck to you both. I hope this helps.

Your chances of "getting pregnant on the shot" are reduced greatly because it is some form of birth control but it isn't unheard of for women to get pregnant on any kind of birth control if you are really worried about becomming pregnant then your best choice is not to have sex....
I mean women can get pregnant while using condoms all it takes is one small hole, I hve a friend that became pregnant with an IUD and when her baby was born the IUD was implanted in her baby's arm, and there are other health risks as well to using different methods of Birth control, but to find what is going to be the best choice for you I would recommend talking to your doctor

If you are scared of getting pregnant, either abstain or wear a condom. Those are your choices. Ever hear of the old 99.999% effective? It's because there is a chance you could still get pregnant. and unless you want another Baby in your life other than that drooling fool you call a boyfriend, get with the program sister!

no form of birth control is 100% effective. both my firnd and I got pregnant while on the shot. next time use a 2nd form of protection (condom) but since you got your period, you probably do not need to worry. the only bad thing about the shot is when your periods start to go away and you won't know either way. just be careful.

Your chances are about the same as if you were just on the pill which is only effective like 98%. Next time I'd use a condom. If he doesn't use one, he's not worth it because he won't protect you or himself. It's called being a man and taking your responsibilities in life.

Depo Provera shot is the most effective birth control at the moment. If you have been on it for at least a week you shouldn't have a problem.

It depends on when you had your shot but still the shot does not protect you from other diseases. If you are having a normal period you are most likely okay.(baby wise I mean)
