I have not read it. But I have read "Food of the Gods", which credits psychoactive mushrooms with starting us on the road to larger brains, bipedalism and language.

I have read it. It will open your eyes. It will make you wonder if the Bible was a product of mushroom induced hallucinations. Read it, duder.
