last time I post this question I got some serious people asking for help related to their sex offender issues
one time one mother's son was in prison and didn't know where to turn for help.
and it felt good for me to refer that mother to a sex offender support group.
you know for every sex offender it's someone's mother's , father's , brother, son, daughter, grandfather, grandson.
it not easy when you have love one that did something wrong and is gone.
we sex offender know what we did was wrong and there some of us that wre working hard to impove ourself.
so if you know someone that a rso let them know that there are help and support for them

Support groups for sex offenders is very much needed in all areas. There are some areas also starting support groups for the offenders and the victims. This will enable the victims to ask why, to say what they want to say and the offender to explain why and apologize. These things are very important to fighting sexual abuse. There also needs to be a lot of work done with Prevention. This is one area that is sorely lacking.

First of all, "sex offenders" is a huge spectrum. It cover everything from the serial rapist, to the person who went too far one time when he was drunk. It includes deliberate child molesters and the 20-year-old who unknowingly slept with a 16-year-old after she showed him fake ID. Some of these folks are obvious much worse criminals than the others.
