Yes. Very soon the governments of the world will put their differences aside and unite into one single ruling party with a chosen president and one single monetary currency.

Perhaps never. There are forces and trends in both directions. The European Union is an example of economic forces driving consolidation of government. On the other hand the dissolution of the USSR is an example of fracturing of governments primarily driven by ethnic considerations.

Certainly I think the overarching trend has been toward consolidation over the last half century and the increased cooperation and economic trade that it fosters. However, the Earth is entering a period of water, energy and likely food scarcity that may disrupt that longer term trend at least for a while.

As we emerge from the Global Warming disaster it seems highly likely that we will have a stable population, a renewable energy based economy and will have adopted sustainable farming and resource exploitation policies. That argues in favor of more consolidated government at that point. It may be several hundred years before we reach that point though.

I dont think so people are to different to all unite under one form of goverment. Atleast not as long as there are different religions, political parties, & points of view. So even if there were a united world goverment it wouldnt get anything done. If you want proof just look at the United Nations
