Sorry, but you can't do it without hurting her feelings. Remember to be direct, yet gentle. How would you want a girl to break that kind of news to you?

You aren't responsible for her feelings getting hurt, it's beyond your control. There is really no way to soften the blow, but sooner is better than later and being as gentle about it as you can is a kindness. It would be too cruel to do it in a mean or purposefully hurtful way. But if you aren't very very clear, you'll give her false hope. Be clear. Be kind. And do it soon.

doesn't matter how gentle you tell her. if it ain't going to happen she is going to hurt. but talking to her and being honest is the most respectfull thing you can do for her. and telling her that you wanted her to know cause of how much you respect her, will probably at least salvage the friendship. but she will have to deal with her hurt on her own. she will be ok.

I would just say that I liked them as a friend, and that I'm flattered, but I think that friendship and nothing more is better than a serious relationship.

Tell her like it is and then put some sugar on it. Something like..." I only like you as a friend, but I'm very flattered that you have a crush on me." She shud be fine.

No matter how you say it, it's still going to hurt her. Say something like "You're a nice girl but I don't think it'll work out. I'm sorry." so it won't hurt AS MUCH.

first and far most BE HONEST! tell her you won't date her or something because you really enjoy having her as a friend. tell her that you love your friendship with her and would never want to mess that up. tell her that if you did go out with her and it didn't work out you're friendship could never be as strong. GOOD LUCK, unfortunantely she's going to have to understand.

Just tell her that you do not want to put yourself or her into a position that may put you friendship in danger.
