I want to have a Crime to investigate where the kids go around and interview people for clues and then have to race to find out who the bad guy is. First team or kid to get it wins a party favor etc. I need to figure out the how to do this part since I know what I want, but not sure how to pull it off so it is cool for teenagers. any ideas?

cool idea! have your friends (the adults) play the part of murderer, suspect, victim, witness. if you can, get the neighborhood in on it. have the "actors" and the crime scene have evidence with them. the team that questions the people and gets the evidence first will be one step closer than the rest. make sure to make up a story plot of what happened. maybe say a teenager was the victim, or the murderer. good luck!

ok you will need a fog machine ebay 20 bucks. some creapy music, and a monster outfit. about 5 friends wiith scripts. make your script have the kids watch whyle you act it out. the lights go off someone is dead. lights on who done it? leave clues, get some ideas from murder dinners on the net. better yet dotn tell them its a play and do a mtv scare tactics!! yea. now that is way better than csi. give it all you got and scare the bejesus out of em.
