go to the itunes website and buy some songs. Then you listen to the iPod. Duh!!

go to www.apple.com
then download the software they provide. If you have sensitive ears, dowload their volume control program so you don't trun up the music too loud. Once everythin gis dowlaoded. go back and make an account with the music store. eneter all your info (email,name,credt card number, etc.) Once you have done that, you can start buying songs. Put all the songs you have bought into a playlist. then once you hook your ipod nano into the computer. There is a little program that allows you to autofill the playlist. go ahead, go and do it!!! If you want songs from a CD, put in the CD. then take the songs from the Cd and transfer them to another playlist. Then, once again, hook up your ipod nano, and autofill them on. Good luck

easy. all you do is get he software that's in the box, and it will hep u install i tunes. Well u have to put it in a computer doi! and then put your cd into ur computer (o also plug ur ipod into the comp using the drive that's included.) and click import, then click update ipod!!! ta da!!!!!!!!
