On a 1984 Ford F150 two bbr carb. What other parts need to replace on carburetor? Have kit but would like to know if there is anything else that should be done that the kit does not include...
don't mean fuel filter, clean gas tank, or new fuel line or anything else related to fuel system just things that control the carburetor...

i always change rubber hose connecting gas tank to fuel line has a tendency to rot out . if you have kit that should be enough

strip carb and soak main bits in petrol over night is best then check all mating surfaces to make sure notwarped then use compressed air and clean all holes in upper and lower parts this is easy to over look but very important you must make sure all inlets /outlets breath correctly

if the kit didn't come with the float id change it while ur in there.
