i am not actually anthropophobic. i just

♡I just did because it's the first time I've actually seen one of your Q.'s and just wanted to make sure I had the right meaning! (I did) AND~ I was curious too!! (*^o^*) Unique user name and I don't think you seem that 'anti-social' at all!♡

My teachers were right--learning all those Latin and Greek roots, prefixes and suffixes helps in real life.
Anthropophobic means afraid of Man.

i didn't have to look up the meaning of your username...grins...years of study of science can do wonders to your vocabulary. grins yet again. anyways, ill take a wack at it.
Anthro- means "man" and
phobic or phobia means "fear".
now you're making me wonder...hehe...what do i get out of answering this question again? LOL. later.

interesting name. yes, i did look it up, but not before i guessed at its meaning from its word roots: anthropos, greek for man, and phobos, greek for fear. (i like learning the etymology of words, so i studied latin and a little greek. and i read the dictionary. on occasion.) hope that makes you happy! :P

So how are you different from a xenophobe? Or are you scared of everyone, freind or foe?

Why should I look up something I already know?
