Why in the world who you pick Oprah as your example for first woman president?
I don't see what all the hoopla is all about, there will be a female president in our lifetime. There are currently over a half dozen female governors in the country, so it is only a matter of time.
Forgive me I lied, I DO know what all the hoopla is all about. The lib's, desperate for a victory are currently seeing only Al 'The sky is falling, the earth is warming' Gore, John 'I fought for my country before I fought against it' Kerry (both proven losers), and Hilliary. So the attempt to get popular momentum behind voting for a female president has been launched, because, well, lets face it, you can't talk about what she stands for because that would eliminate her automatically.

We did have a Woman President before although she is not listed as such because she was a De Facto President.
It was Edith Wilson who was Acting President in the last 16 Months of Woodrow Wilson's Presidency after Woodrow had a stroke and Congress allowed for her to carry out most of the Presidential duties belonging to her Husband.

No, Oprah is far too nice and intelligent for the job. We need a real ***** to be our first woman president. Hillary Clinton would make a good president, I think.

of direction not. Oprah Winfrey is in basic terms a television communicate teach host. She has no employer, political, economic, global adventure. She has made questionable judgements. She has had abortions and used illicit drugs like cocaine. although she's not in any respect been married, she tells thousands and thousands of female visitors a thanks to be good moms and different halves. Her personality remains suspect. very few months in the past it become printed that one in all her admired authors, James Frey, made up the contents of his e book "a million Little products". In an appalling demonstrate of damage administration she went on CNN's "Larry King stay" and stated that the falsehoods did not count. purely after the media criticized her for that act of moral Relativism did she then convey Frey on her teach, in mock outrage, and humiliate him. She not in any respect apologized to her target marketplace for attempting to perpetuate the lies (and praising a liar) even as she become on Larry King's teach. Oprah? President? without her communicate teach, she doesn't be depended on to artwork at a monetary employer.

No! Also a big NO for Hillary, too. I don't know of any woman who is politically inclined at the moment who would make a good president. Our time will come, but we don't want a token woman. It has to be the RIGHT woman. None on the horizon yet.

NOT Hillary Clinton!
Barbara Bush should be the first lady President. She'd give the heads of state milk and cookies, and make them stand in the corner if they acted up. Face it, they're mostly a bunch of unruly children.
