Before he transfer to another club, Sir Alex Ferguson must first release him from his current contract. This could happen if his personal safety is at risk, but the more likely outcome is that, considering his exceptional value as a player, Manchester United will provide additional security for him if it is needed.
Possibly the so-called "fans" of England are too stupid to realise that Cristiano Ronaldo is not personally responsible for England's exit from the World Cup. The reason that they are out is, quite simply, because they didn't play well enough to beat Portugal in normal time, they didn't play well enough to beat them in extra time, and when it came down to a penalty shoot-out, Portugal did the better job in defence.
It's disgusting that people can't treat it as a sport and accept losses with good grace. Of course it is entirely unfair to paint the whole nation with the same brush just because of a few bad elements, but there again perhaps more should be done to control these people and make them accountable for their actions.

Poor guy, he TOTALLY doesnt deserve the **** he's been getting...It is UNBELIEVABLE how his reputation is being tarnished this way...I STILL don't understand the gravity of the situation that led to this...The English media have been so threatening, that I do agree with u about the fact that if he does return to Manchester Utd, he could be literally mauled! I hope to GOD that the rumours are TRUE, and that he DOES move to Real Madrid for his own safety.

According to C.Ronaldo...he's staying at Man U. I think the Man U fans will be pretty ticked off...unless they see Rooney and him getting along. We'll see what happens.
