i have 20 yr old twin boys. both welders. i wish beyond anything else: that they find peace, the quiet kind that allows them to sleep. thier lives were not easy. i spent many hours crying and listening to the song he's my son by mark shultz. they don't need or want great riches. they need a sense of self and safety. for anyone who reads this, please pray for them. thier names are matthew and marc. and please don't judge me, i did the best i could.

Good Question !!!
If you are looking for a scriptual answer I like to use Bible ,since Most people quote other people i find it to be a good habit to give
scripture in my amswers .
In Jenesis chapter 2 we are given an Idea of what we could have enjoyed if The first human couple had only obeyed the creator Verse 15 reads; And Jehovah God proceeded to take the man and settle him in the garden of E´den to cultivate it and to take care of it. We know that Eden was a paradise , dont we ? So we
could have been living in paradise today . I can think of nothing better to wish for my children than to live in paradise . with no pain , no anxiety, never getting old, always having plenty to eat, and so on. and all this continuing throughout eternity . Great thought , yes? The Bible tells us this so it has to be true !!!
Regards
Shakespeare

A world without theism: To respect all that is on this planet, life, plant, earth, air, water, etc., without the need to have a threat of something evil or catastrophic. If this existed, there would be no wants, no desires for something better for the next generation because we would be living the best now and our children would be raised this way, and so would our grandchildren, and their children, ..... There would be no greed, murder, hate, there would be no poverty, there would be no pollution.....

I've been watching and waiting. I have seen things unfold that frighten me, not for myself. I have had a life to live. But, for my Grandkids. Somethings we can not give them, no matter how much we try. We give them roots, to keep firmly planted. To always have a place to come back to. We give them wings, so that they can leave the nest and be individuals in their own right. We teach them to be productive members of society. We give them responsiblity, because they won't learn to take it on their own. We teach them to think for themselves and to love themselves and we teach them that there is no problem so hard that they can not solve it. We give them all we have, then we hope its enough. That they are ready to face the world and not be staggered by the weight of all that gets thrown their way.
My wish is the same as my Dad's, I just want to see them grow up. I want all the good things in life for them, things I could never give them, but things they have to find for themselves and in themselves. Peace, accountability, to be proud of their accomplishments, not just vain-glorious. To allow others into that intimate circle regardless of affiliation, education, color or creed, race or religion. To strive for unity and harmony, globally.

they will be assuming all the problems that those before us and us as well have left for them and the cycle continues, perhaps in time they will be the generation to solve everything
