Yes, I did it when my son was two in Arizona. Different states have different requirements. Talk to an attorney in your state.

I did when my son was 1. Me and my mom tricked him into signing his rights over. My son was staying with my mom for a month and she took the termination paper to my sons father and told her that it was just a legal paper allowing her to recieve food benifits while my son was there. Of course he signed it without reading it (lol...he signed his rights to her) and then I signed my rights over to her. At the end of my son's stay at grandmas, she signed her rights over to me....now I have full custody with no visitation to him and he still has to pay child support! LOL. Jokes on him, but he deserves it. All abusers deserve it.

cant be done if he is on the birth certificate. can be done if he agrees to it...
