Has anyone taken apart an HPT, then had it turn positive before then 10 minute mark?

I'm so crazy, but I did this, and put the test back together. Then there was a very clear line, not a faint evaporation line. A clear blue line. This was before the ten minute mark that you're not supposed to read your results after. I'm over 2 weeks late for my period, and all my HPT's up until this point have been negative.

since all of your other HPTS have been negative - and the one you took apart just happened to be positive, i'd be cautious. take another one in the morning wnd DO NOT take it apart. taking it apart can mess with the results. after you get the positive, take it apart all you want...

if you're two weeks late there should be nothing "faint" about the line.

I took a HPT during the middle of the day it came up positive in a matter of seconds. I didn't believe that test so right after that one I took another and I could only pee out one drop and that one drop still came out positive this was before I was even late for my period 4 years ago.

Yes, I did QC for a company that made hpt tests, I have taken thousands apart.

They are extrememly accurate and if you are two weeks late and pregnant then you could expect your 2 lines to develop very quickly, even in seconds.

When I took a hpt I got a positive before I finished peeing on the stick. You should try taking the test with your first morning pee. If you are still concerned I would see your Dr. Good luck!

If you do the pregnancy and leave it for 10 minutes, it will mark positive !!! it happened to my friend, and it's written on some packets.
