Here's your real answer:
Monistat has a new product called Soothing Care: that creates a silky, invisible barrier on skin. It comes in a blue and lavender box and I found it in the tampon/pad section of my local store, which just happens to be Walmart. I'm not sure what section of the country you live in, but you could try there or your local store/drugstore.
Side panel info: From the makers of Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel Skin Protectant. Provides on-the-go daily prevention and relief from chafing and irritation of skin in intimate, delicate areas like the inner thigh, bikini area, under arms and breasts.
It fights friction, is non-greasy, fragrance free, non-irritating and non-staining.
Heres a website: www.soothingcare.com and the phone # is 1-888-240-3339.

Baby powder. I cannot remember the brand, but a company just came out with a glide stick for just that issue. It is a reasonably new commercial. Might want to take a peek at your local drug store around the feminine isle.

ive seen a powder thing advertised on tv, for chaffing, but i would reckon pawpaw ointment, its good for nappy rash too and chaffing is similar/same as nappy rash in my opinion. even try a zinc/castor oil barrier cream. if its reccomended for a babys bum id use it

I find certain activities more likely to cause this. esp. bicycling in the heat.
It hasnt happened to me in a while but Ive not been on that bike lately either.
When it happens to me I switch to boxer shorts for underwear instead of panties. I have a few I bought on a painful day. I know its butch, but having some material to protect the skin there helps alot. I also like gold bond powder.

That's funny - I just saw a commercial for a spray on TV that keeps your thighs from chafing. I didn't even know they made something like that. But then again I've never had that problem so I've never looked for a product like that.
