i throw pretty quick.....85mph...just wondering where that stands amongs the crowd of yahoo answers people....thanx

that's 85mph average for about 7-9 innings (100 pitches). i played in college but chose to go after academics

I bet I could get 70 mph at best. When I pitch a whole game I throw around 50 all game. You might throw 85, but is that for one pitch or a few innings

Somewhere in area of 40 mph. I used to throw in 60s when I was younger but that was ages ago. That is why I was never a pitcher.

the fastest i have been clocked at is 91 i usually pitch 85-87. but i don't have the stamina to go more then 2 -3 innings.

well, omitting the fact that i am not a pitcher, i was clocked throwing across the diamond at around 85 mph. third to first. unfortuneately that was a couple of years ago, and now i suck i am under 70 mph.

You have an above average arm. I played baseball, although not as a pitcher and I could never throw that hard.

When I through into the speed gun at the ball park I jacked it up to 32 miles per hour.

I would say between 55 and 65 but I would probably miss my target
