FX has renewed the tough LA cop saga The Shield, which got an order for a seventh, and final, season, with 13 new episodes that will air sometime in late 2007 or early 2008. The 10-episode sixth season is scheduled to begin airing in January 2007.

Far as the plot goes. I think there going to try to cover up Lem's death more or watch the team fall apart.
