I'm sorry, but I'm a guy, and I'm a little fashion-impaired.
I bought these pretty awesome bright blue pants a few days ago, and I'm not sure if they are long enough to wear with sneakers.
When I tried them on, I had on flip flops, and they looked good. I guess I'm kind of stupid, and I didn't take into account the fact that I would probably be wearing them with sneakers, too.
The three sneakers that I wear are all the same exact type, just different colors. They're pretty big... if that makes any sense. When I tried them on with my new pants, the pants leg did not even fit over the little flap thing on the top of the shoe.
Is this a fashion don't? I didn't think that it looked too good, and I was wondering if it is okay to wear pants that look kind of short with sneakers.
Any advice?

Sorry, dude. Your pants need to be a little longer. They should have a nice break in front and hang to the bottom of the heel in back.

Me, being an owner of a franchise store of The Athlete's Foot. would never wear sneakers with pants. Why cover up a hot looking pair of sneakers, Sneakers should be worn with shorts. If you must wear pants, try to cover them up as little as possible so that others can see your sneakers.

Do they have any extra hem you can let out to make them longer? Better yet if you don't like their length, take them back to the store. But one more thing, today everybody kind of wears whatever they like, if I give you advice it is probably 10 years out of date. So wear whatever you think looks good to you. If they don't look good by your standards, get your money back or exchange them for something that goes with the sneakers.

You want them to come down to the top of your sneakers. You dont want to walk around looking ike Michael Jackson. Look at some Mens fashions at www.gap.com or www.ambercrombie.com, look at some of the men that you admire in fashion like Jay-Z, Puffy etc.

it is personal tase if you dont like it dont wear it. however men should never wear short or cropped pants. it looks weird and unnatural especially with sneakers.

I think they should be to at least the middle of your sneakers. No, that doesn't sound gay at all, to me!

i think its sorta just personal opinion. i myself think its a fashion nono...and should cover the shoe a bit...
