He didnt do it on purpose, and FIFA know it. If they for 1 second thought he did it on purpose they would have given him at least a 3 or 4 match ban, this way they dont look too guilty of being wrong, cos if they say the ref was wrong, then what does that mean for the match.
OOOO, there neds to be a solution to this dodgy ref calls, meybe a team can have 3 protestations to a video judge, use them wisely, doesnt slow the game too much, but crucial decisions can be quickly reviewed and decided upon.
I know very USA sport-esq but with so much passion and love for this game we should try and be more fair.

Rooney will have to miss next two competitive England's games (Next European cup round which will begin in September. However Rooney got a light punishment he should have received three games like De Rossi, his foul play was just as vicious

Sounds just about right to me. 1 match ban for each Testicle he tried to Squash. thank goodness us men only have 2. Other wise he would have missed an entire season.

as long as england is playing an international game, he wont play cos all international games are organised by fifa whether they are friendly games or not. but he can play for his club though.
