can anyone tell me if that kid that played malachi if he was a boy or a girl? is it just me or was his sex very ambiguous?

Courtney Gaines played Malachi and he's a guy, born in 1965.

Malachi was a boy. That movie was amazing and different at the same time. I liked it. I've watched it a couple of times. Will probebly watch it again now that you have it in my head.
