Is love overrated? Do you think more people love or lust?

I must admit that i do lust sometimes. I just want to see your answers though. Be spacific. Brighten up my night.

I think love is overrated. It sets the stage for endless situations and episodes where you will be forced to prove yourself and live up the expectations of others.

Lust, however, is far more fun, and no one expects anything of you except a great one time performance. =)

The fake sappy kind of love we see in the movies is overrated. The real kind is magic when it happens. I've felt it a few times so I know. I am a hopeless romantic about love. My imagination usually does me in. I guess the net effect over time is worth it. Not always sure. I guess its better to feel something than nothing.

More people lust than love, for sure. This time of the year , I find myself lusting after someone maybe 20 or 30 times a day. I've learned that if you comment to another woman about any other, just say "nice outfit". More than that can get you slapped.

I do not think that love is overrated, because it's a wonderful thing to experience...However, true love, I believe, is overrated, because everyone thinks that there is only "one true love for everyone", but you can love anyone, and love is always true, whether it's for 30 seconds or 30 years. I think that more people lust than love, because while many people will fall in love, everyone lusts at one point or another, even if they do not act on that lust.

I think Love gets better as you get older. I have had my share of lusts in life, but I have to admit that Love pulls you through the tough times. The lust I have acted on was superficial and didn't do much than satisify me for a short time, while Love puts up with lots of stuff that lust wouldn't consider putting up with. wanna know more? sn marks3kids@yahoo Good Luck

Love is lust, only with a prettier decription. Commitment is what you build for a relationship after you decide you lust after someone. All the hype over love is usually just to sell something to someone. Everyone with a heartbeat lusts and the trick is getting them to admit it over all the hype that involves a lot of games, taboos, and general bullsnot that gets in the way of opening up, trusting the other person, and learning how to have really good relationships (sex) with (sex) each (sex) other (sex).....

Most people arent lucky enough to find love..Lust is the most common but there is no shame because there are many marriages built purely on lust its all in how bad you want something to work.

I do think love is overrated, as far as what people expect from it......Lust is just lust, people lust, and move on.........Lust is usually cheaper than love.......I do think love/lust is about a 50/50 split, the choice depending on what someone's personal preferences are........ :-)

These days, it is just lust. There are too many people these days that just don't care enough about trying to find love. Although there are some out there, just not as many there used to be

i think there are alot i mean ALOT of ppl that do lust cuz they try to say its love but all they really want to do is feel the pleasure and then theres ppl who do want to love not just have sex as and act to do but as an act of love with passion and meaning behind it. and i understand we all lust its a natural part of life. but i can honestly say id rather love than lust . cause with love you get so much more and feel happy and with lust u dont feel all that great about your self afterwards. i hope inlighted u lol
